Refund Policy

Fine art prints are made to order. This policy explains what happens if something goes wrong with your order, and how to get it resolved.

Made to order

Each print is produced specifically for you after your order is placed. Because production begins promptly, change-of-mind cancellations and returns cannot be accommodated once an order has been confirmed.

Please review your selection — including size, paper type, and framing — carefully before completing your purchase. If you have questions about how a specific print will look, feel free to get in touch before ordering.

Damaged in transit

If your print arrives damaged, please contact hello@howitt.io within 7 days of receiving the order. Include your order reference number and clear photographs showing:

  • The damage to the print
  • The outer packaging
  • The inner packaging and interleaving

On confirmation, a replacement print will be produced and dispatched at no charge. Replacements are not available for damage caused after delivery.

Defective prints

If a print arrives with a production defect — such as a colour error, banding, or misalignment that was not visible in the product images — contact hello@howitt.io within 14 days of receiving the order with your order reference and a photograph of the defect. A replacement will be arranged.

Slight variation in colour from screen to print is a natural characteristic of fine art printing and is not considered a defect. Prints are produced on calibrated equipment using archival pigment inks.

Lost orders

If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery window, contact hello@howitt.io and the shipment will be investigated with the carrier. If an order is confirmed lost in transit, a replacement will be dispatched.

Refunds

Where a replacement is not possible (for example, if a limited edition has since sold out), a full refund will be issued to the original payment method. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
